Jared Dupert's life is a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of faith, family, and a diverse entrepreneurial spirit. With three distinct ventures—Faith Realty Brokers, Omorfia Designs Inc., and At the Table Church—Jared, alongside his wife, navigates a dynamic landscape where every endeavor is deeply rooted in a shared mission: to connect with people and foster community.
For over two decades, Jared dedicated himself to full-time church ministry. However, a profound sense of transition emerged, prompting him to "dream again." This led to the unconventional yet deeply personal concept of "At the Table Church." Drawing on his lifelong passion for cooking, the church revolves around food, conversation, and shared life experiences, echoing the communal spirit of Acts Chapter 2. This missional movement, launched in 2022, is funded through private cooking classes and dinners hosted in their home, creating a unique blend of ministry and hospitality.
The Duperts' journey into real estate and interior design is equally intertwined with their faith. Jared's entry into real estate was a direct answer to prayer, a divine opening that provided a new avenue for vocational ministry. The funds from a previous snow removal business serendipitously covered his real estate licensing, illustrating a pattern of divine provision. Omorfia Designs Inc., co-owned with his wife, whose name means "beautiful" in Greek, reflects their commitment to giving back, particularly to Greece, where they have engaged in missions for 15 years. Every business, in their view, creates a "table to do life with people," whether it's helping families find homes, renovating spaces, or simply sharing a meal.
In a world often characterized by chaos, Jared maintains his spiritual grounding through a consistent morning routine. He dedicates time to silence, reflection, and reading, often at a local coffee shop. This intentional space allows him to "fill himself" before pouring into others, a lesson learned from years in ministry. "I'm sitting here because I need time with Jesus," he explains, emphasizing that this personal communion is the wellspring of his ability to serve.
The Duperts' entrepreneurial path, while rewarding, is not without its challenges. As both are entrepreneurs, their income fluctuates, demanding a deep reliance on faith. Jared, as the CFO of their ventures, often grapples with financial decisions, but consistently returns to the conviction that "if it's God's idea, can it ever fail?" This unwavering trust is a cornerstone of their approach, especially when facing difficult economic realities in their businesses. They've learned to navigate uncertainty by focusing on prayer and trusting that God will provide, even when the numbers don't immediately add up.
The couple's complementary gifts are evident in their work. While Jared excels at the practicalities and numbers, his wife possesses an extraordinary eye for design, transforming spaces and envisioning possibilities that he might not. This synergy extends to their hospitality, where her design prowess creates an inviting atmosphere for their cooking classes and communal gatherings, utilizing cherished family china to elevate the experience.
Jared's ultimate message to other businesses and individuals is one of profound simplicity and trust: "It's going to be okay. Just trust." He advocates for embracing humor in challenging times, echoing the sentiment, "If you can laugh about it later, learn to laugh about it now." This perspective, born from a career transition at 45 and the continuous journey of faith, underscores the belief that even when life doesn't unfold as planned, God's plan is always at work, leading to an ultimate "okay."
