In the bustling world of entrepreneurship, where success is often measured by tangible metrics, Angie Nuttle, founder of VIP Center for Business Women, offers a refreshing and profoundly impactful perspective: true, lasting success is rooted in unwavering faith and a laser-like focus on biblical principles. Her journey from corporate leadership to a faith-driven enterprise is a powerful testament to the transformative power of integrating one's spiritual convictions into every aspect of business.
Angie's story begins with a divine nudge. After two decades in corporate leadership development, a clear calling from God led her to the marketplace in 2014, establishing Corporate Talent Institute. This initial venture, though successful, was merely a stepping stone. God’s “breadcrumbs” led her to an even deeper purpose: empowering women in business through faith. This led to the founding of the VIP Center for Business Women, a division dedicated to equipping women to grow in faith and build their businesses according to Kingdom principles.
For Angie, intentionally living out her faith in business wasn't always a given. While her personal faith was strong, the corporate environment often discouraged its open expression. Entrepreneurship offered the freedom to integrate her beliefs, but it was the official declaration of the VIP Center as a Christian, faith-based organization in 2022 that truly shifted everything. This bold move, publicly proclaiming Jesus as the CEO and committing to biblical principles, was met with immediate challenges. A corporate client canceled a significant engagement upon seeing their mission statement. Yet, in this moment of apparent loss, a profound truth was revealed: “God just came right in and supplied everything that we need. What was taken away there, God restored and restored more.” This experience solidified their conviction that publicly declaring faith in business unlocks supernatural provision and purpose.
This commitment to biblical principles extends to every facet of their operations. The VIP Center fosters a community, known as the Purple Life, inspired by Lydia, the successful businesswoman in Acts 16. This community provides a safe space for women to deepen their walk with the Lord, learn how to run their businesses according to God’s word, and ultimately, be about the Father’s business.
One of the most compelling examples of Angie's faith-driven decision-making came in 2017. Her coaching and consulting business was thriving by worldly standards—financially successful, with all the trappings of material comfort. Yet, a quiet voice from God disrupted her comfort: “This is not what I’ve called you to. To whom much is given, much is required.” God revealed a vision for a physical building, a concept that initially brought resistance due to the perceived financial burden of overhead and a mortgage. “I was like, don’t take me there,” Angie recalls, highlighting the natural human inclination to cling to comfort and control.
Despite her initial reluctance, obedience prevailed. God directed her to a specific building, leading to the establishment of the VIP Center as a physical hub. This decision, seemingly counter to conventional business wisdom focused on minimizing overhead, proved to be a pivotal moment. The building became a gathering place, a safe haven, and a ministry hub, offering Airbnb rooms for female guests and hosting retreats, events, and networking dinners. This “multiplier effect” demonstrated that true abundance often comes from surrendering to God’s plan, even when it demands stepping out in faith and making financial commitments that defy worldly logic. The initial investment, a “down payment on this place,” was an act of faith that has yielded immeasurable spiritual and practical returns.
Angie emphasizes that faith is the core element driving all their decisions, especially financial ones. Even when the bank account doesn't reflect the necessary support, they move forward with big decisions based on faith. Generosity is a key value, deeply rooted in Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” They have put this word to the test repeatedly, giving when God directs, even when resources seem scarce. Miraculously, resources always appear precisely when needed. This isn't just about faith; it's about obedience—not questioning God, but trusting His word will not return void.
For other Christian business leaders, Angie offers two profound pieces of advice:
Angie Nuttle’s journey is a powerful reminder that when faith becomes the CEO of your business, and biblical principles are the guiding force, the potential for impact, growth, and true abundance becomes limitless. It’s a call to courageously live out one’s convictions, trusting that God’s provision and purpose will always transcend worldly limitations.
